Becoming a Donor

The Foundation needs donors in order to:

build up capital in order to generate income to be used for educational grants to individuals and organisations
provide a means whereby individuals, organisations and staff committed to the philosophies of Caroline Chisholm may make tax-deductible donations
provide a channel for proceeds of fundraising activity to be directed to worthwhile activities

Corporate donations

Businesses of any size may support the Foundation by –

donating regularly on behalf of the company
donating a single cash donation
donating a percentage of sales from the business or product
donating cash specifically for grants allocated to industry areas chosen by the donor and named for the company
running corporate fundraising efforts involving staff such as an auction, golf day or trivia night
joining the Ritchies instore “sign up” program which donates 1% for every $1,000 spent by card holders directly to the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation

Individuals may support the Foundation by –

making a continuing donation of $5.00 or more per fortnight, per month, per term
make a once-off contribution of your choice
being involved in fundraising teams by joining one or starting your own
encouraging friends, colleagues and family to take an interest in the Foundation and its purpose
joining the Ritchies instore “sign up” program which donates 1% for every $1,000 spent by card holders directly to the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation
include a Bequest in your Will to the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation
