Becoming a Donor

The Foundation needs donors in order to:

  • build up capital in order to generate income to be used for educational grants to individuals and organisations
  • provide a means whereby individuals, organisations and staff committed to the philosophies of Caroline Chisholm may make tax-deductible donations
  • provide a channel for proceeds of fundraising activity to be directed to worthwhile activities

Corporate donations

Businesses of any size may support the Foundation by –

  • donating regularly on behalf of the company
  • donating a single cash donation
  • donating a percentage of sales from the business or product
  • donating cash specifically for grants allocated to industry areas chosen by the donor and named for the company
  • running corporate fundraising efforts involving staff such as an auction, golf day or trivia night
  • joining the Ritchies instore “sign up” program which donates 1% for every $1,000 spent by card holders directly to the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation

Individual donations

Individuals may support the Foundation by –

  • making a continuing donation of $5.00 or more per fortnight, per month, per term
  • make a once-off contribution of your choice
  • being involved in fundraising teams by joining one or starting your own
  • encouraging friends, colleagues and family to take an interest in the Foundation and its purpose
  • joining the Ritchies instore “sign up” program which donates 1% for every $1,000 spent by card holders directly to the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation
  • include a Bequest in your Will to the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation

Donation Form can be obtained:

  • from the Foundation website
  • from Chisholm Institute of TAFE campus reception areas
  • by requesting a Form from the Executive Officer

Payment should be made to –

Chisholm Institute (Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation Trust Fund)
