Foundation Funding

• Chisholm Institute of TAFE Board provided the seed funding for the Foundation with $72,630 from funds reserved by the predecessor institutions
• Chisholm Institute of TAFE has pledged an annual contribution of 5% of investment income to the Foundation
• Chisholm Institute of TAFE administers the fund at no cost to the Foundation
• A Board of Trustees presided over by an independent chair and comprising representatives of Board, staff and the broader Chisholm community is responsible for the governance of the Foundation
• Donors include the Rotary Clubs of Berwick, Chelsea, Hampton, Hastings and Rowville, the annual Rosebud Police and Community Charity Golf Day Committee, Mondial Assistance and private donors who support the Afghani, Indigenous and African Scholarships, the Emerson Scholarship and the Barbara Blundell Bursary
• Chisholm Institute staff and students support the Foundation by donating funds through Campus Networks, student projects and social fundraisers
• The South East Development (Melbourne) Area Consultative Committee donated $50,000 in October 2008 to set up a perpetual fund for annual manufacturing awards
• Foundation funds at the end of 2008 stand at $350,000
