This year the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation has awarded 198 scholarships and bursaries.  For many students the support is life-changing and they are extremely appreciative for this assistance.  The recipients have been on all campuses of Chisholm Institute, and at Swinburne, Kangan, William Angliss and Holmesglen Institutes.  They have been enrolled in a wide range of courses, which include Advanced Diplomas, Diplomas, Certificates, dual trade/ESL courses, pre-apprenticeships and apprenticeships, VCAL and VETiS. 

Already there have been a large number of enquiries about assistance that can be provided for students wishing to enrol in 2012, but who will have difficulty in funding their course of study.  I have attached a copy of our 2012 Grants Brochure so that you are aware of the impact of the Charity Golf Day on our work, and its importance in maintaining this support for students.

The Golf Day is on Monday, 27 February 2012 at Southern Golf Club   This year we are honoured to have the winner of the 1982 Australian open, Bob Shearer attending along with his wife and media manager of various major golf tournaments in Australia and Asia, Kathie Shearer. We are also proud to have the Australian Ladies Professional Golfers organising the event this year who will be present to assist and challenge players throughout the day.

The Foundation is now seeking Major Sponsors and Gold, Silver, and Novelty sponsorships and very importantly, players.  The attached flyer provides the opportunity for you to indicate your involvement as a sponsor or player – or both.
