Two (2) scholarships of $1,000 per annum for students undertaking vocational studies at Chisholm Institute in 2010
Eligibility
Applications made on the Emerson Scholarship Application Form will be accepted from any student wishing to apply who meets several of the following requirements:
Disadvantaged and undergoing hardship
Individual or family adversity
Excessive relocation or changes of school
Dislocation as a refugee
Economic barriers to further study
A resident of the south-east region of Melbourne
Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent humanitarian visa
Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.
Process
Information about the scholarships will be communicated via email to Chisholm Institute staff and students and will be advertised on the Foundation website and MyChisholm
Those meeting the eligibility guidelines will fill in the Application Form for a Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation Emerson Scholarship and return it to the Executive Officer, Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation by the advertised closing date, Monday 24 May 2010
NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
