Scholarship Funding

Two (2) scholarships of $1,000 each per annum are available for eligible African students for the 2012 academic year.  

Eligibility

Applications made on the African Scholarship Application Form will be accepted from those who meet the following requirements:

Mandatory

 African country of birth
 Certificate III in ESL level of English as a minimum
 economic barriers to further study

and may have experienced –

 individual or family adversity
 excessive relocation or changes of school
 relocation as a refugee
 disadvantaged in accessing further education 

Applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, hold a permanent humanitarian visa, or with the exception of degrees, be eligible for a Government subsidised place

Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply

NOTE:    It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
