Three (3) scholarships of $1,500 each per annum are available for eligible African students for the 2010 academic year.  

Eligibility

Applications made on the African Scholarship Application Form will be accepted from those who meet the following requirements:

Mandatory

 African country of birth
 Certificate III in ESL level of English as a minimum
 economic barriers to further study

and may have experienced –

 individual or family adversity
 excessive relocation or changes of school
 relocation as a refugee
 disadvantaged in accessing further education

Applicants must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident or hold a permanent humanitarian visa.
