Scholarship/Bursary Funding
In accordance with Immigration Regulations, an amount representing 2% of their organisation’s payroll was paid for Industry Based Training. It was specifically requested that the contribution be used for students enrolling in trade training.
Seven (7) scholarships of $1,000 and four (4) bursaries of $500 are available for eligible students in 2012
Funding is intended for –
tuition and materials fees
equipment and other study support
Eligibility
Applications made on the Trade Scholarship Application Form available below or from the Executive Officer, ccef@chisholm.edu.au will be accepted from any student wishing to apply who meets one of the following requirements:
Experiencing difficulty paying for fees or materials
Individual or family adversity
Excessive relocation or changes of school
Relocation as a refugee
and is:
Seeking entry or continuing training in trade studies
Applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, hold a permanent humanitarian visa or with the exception of degrees, be eligible for a government subsidised place
Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.
NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
