Scholarship Funding
Servicing Frankston and the surrounding area for many years, Tigertune has an interest in local community needs and as a result has undertaken to fund a scholarship for vocational education.
One (1) scholarship of $500 will be offered to an apprentice resident in Frankston or surrounding area undertaking automotive studies in 2012
Eligibility
Applications made on the Tigertune Scholarship Application Form, available on the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation website at www.CarolineChisholm.org.au or from the Foundation’s Executive Officer at ccef@chisholm.edu.au, will be accepted from existing or prospective automotive students who meet one or more of the following requirements:
Individual or family adversity
Excessive relocation or changes of school
Dislocation as a refugee
Economic barriers to further study
and is:
An apprentice enrolling in a Chisholm Institute automotive course
Resident in Frankston or surrounding area
Applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, hold a permanent humanitarian visa or with the exception of degrees, be eligible for a government subsidised place
Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.
NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
