This Bursary which has been funded by Soroptimist International Inc in the electorate of Chisholm is offered externally and across all campuses of Chisholm Institute. The Bursary is available to a female student undertaking an Aged Care or Community Services course commencing in 2010. Funding of $500 per annum will be available for two years, 2010/2011.
Eligibility
This award is on offer to prospective or existing female students on all campuses of Chisholm Institute undertaking an Aged Care or Community Services course.
Applications made on the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation Soroptimist International (Chisholm) Bursary Application Form, available on the Foundation website or via email from the Executive Officer of the Foundation, will be accepted from existing or prospective female students who generally meet the following requirements:
Individual or family adversity
Economic barriers to further study
Excessive relocation or changes of school
Relocation as a refugee
Existing or prospective female student undertaking a course in Aged Care or Community Services at Chisholm Institute
The recipient must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent humanitarian visa
Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply
NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
