Scholarship Funding
One (1) scholarship covering fees and charges is available to a student undertaking a full apprenticeship of 3 - 4 years at a TAFE Institute. The scholarship will commence in 2012.
The apprenticeship is for studies in the following areas:
§ Automotive
§ Building and Construction
§ Electronics and Electrical
§ Engineering and Manufacturing
§ Environment
§ Hairdressing*
§ Hospitality*
*Maximum funding of $950 per annum applies
Eligibility
Applications made on the Rotary Club of Endeavour Hills Scholarship Application Form will be accepted from students who meet a number of the following criteria:
- Individual or family adversity
- Economic barriers to further study
- Excessive relocation or changes of school
- Dislocation as a refugee
and are:
- Undertaking an apprenticeship
- Resident in Endeavour Hills or surrounding area
Applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, hold a permanent humanitarian visa or with the exception of degrees, be eligible for a government subsidised place.
Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.
