Two (2) scholarships of $500.00 each for apprentices. Scholarships will be made available to eligible students at the Frankston campus of Chisholm Institute. The scholarships will commence in 2010.
Eligibility
Applications made on the Rotary Club of Chelsea Scholarship Application Form will be accepted from apprenticeship students in the following areas -
* Building, Furniture & Horticulture Department
* Automotive Technology Department
* Electrical, Electronics & Computer Engineering Department
* Manufacturing, Engineering & Logistics Department
who meet the following criteria: -
* Individual or family adversity
* Excessive relocation or changes of school
* Relocation as a refugee
* Economic barriers to further study
* Resident in Chelsea or surrounding Bayside areas
Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent humanitarian visa
