Three (3) scholarships have been funded by the Rotary Club of Berwick for students undertaking full trade apprenticeships whose fees are not paid by their employer. The scholarships commenced in 2008.
Eligibility
Applications made on the Rotary Berwick Scholarship Nomination Form, available from both the Chisholm Institute Building & Furniture Department and the Manufacturing, Engineering & Logistics Department or on the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation website at www.CarolineChisholm.org.au, will be accepted from current pre-apprenticeship students who meet one or more of the following requirements:
Individual or family adversity
Excessive relocation or changes of school
Relocation as a refugee
Economic barriers to further study
Preferably a resident of Berwick or surrounding suburbs
Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent humanitarian visa
Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.
NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.

Current Recipients
The current recipients, who have been undertaking apprenticeship studies since the commencement of 2008, are:
