Scholarship Funding

Two (2) scholarships are available for apprentices whose fees are not paid by their employer.  These scholarships are funded by the Rotary Club of Berwick for payment of fees for the duration of full trade apprenticeships.

The scholarships will commence in 2012. 

Eligibility

Applications made on the Rotary Berwick Scholarship Application Form, available below or from the Executive Officer at ccef@chisholm.edu.au will be accepted from apprenticeship students who meet one or more of the following requirements:

 Individual or family adversity
 Excessive relocation or changes of school
 Relocation as a refugee
 Economic barriers to further study

and is:

 A resident of Berwick or surrounding suburbs 

Applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, hold a permanent humanitarian visa or with the exception of degrees, be eligible for a government subsidised place.

Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.

NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
