Scholarship Funding

In accordance with Immigration Regulations, an amount representing 2% of payroll was paid to fund Industry Based Training.  It was specifically requested that these contributions be used for students enrolling in retail or customer service studies. 

One  (1) scholarship of $1,600 and one (1) scholarship of $1,000 are available for eligible students in Semester 2 of 2012.

Funding is intended for –

 tuition and materials fees
 equipment and other study support


Eligibility

Applications made on the Retail Scholarship Application Form will be accepted from students wishing to apply who meet several of the following requirements:

 experiencing difficulty paying for fees or materials
 individual or family adversity
 excessive relocation or changes of school
 relocation as a refugee
 seeking entry or continuing retail or customer service training at Chisholm Institute

Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent humanitarian visa
