Background
Mornington Peninsula Shire Council has funded a bursary which will be made available specifically to residents of the Mornington Peninsula undertaking vocational studies in commercial cookery.
Scholarship Funding
One (1) bursary of $500 is available to an eligible student undertaking commercial cookery studies at Chisholm Institute. The bursary will commence in the 2012 academic year.
Eligibility
This bursary is available to students at Chisholm Institute undertaking studies in commercial cookery.
Applications made on the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation Mornington Shire Commercial Cookery Bursary Application Form, available below or via email from the Executive Officer of the Foundation, ccef@chisholm.edu.au will be accepted from existing or prospective students who meet one or more of the following requirements:
Individual or family adversity
Excessive relocation or changes of school
Dislocation as a refugee
Economic barriers to further study
and are:
A new or continuing student undertaking studies at Chisholm Institute
A resident of the Mornington Peninsula area
Applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, hold a permanent humanitarian visa, or with the exception of degrees, be eligible for a Government subsidised place
Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.
NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
