Scholarship Funding 

Extending its record of service to the community, Grenda is now recognising other pressing needs of the community it serves with the introduction of two scholarships. These scholarships will be for students undertaking courses in the vocational area.

One (1) scholarship of $1,000 is available for an eligible student who wishes to undertake a course of study at Chisholm Institute in one of the following areas in 2012 -

 Engineering and Manufacturing
 Automotive
 Transport and Logistics
 Community Services

Eligibility

Applications made on the Grenda Scholarship Application Form, available below or from the Executive Officer at ccef@chisholm.edu.au will be accepted from current or prospective students who meet one or more of the following requirements:

 Individual or family adversity
 Excessive relocation or changes of school
 Relocation as a refugee
 Economic barriers to further study

and is:
 A resident of the south-east region of Melbourne
 Undertaking a course in Engineering and Manufacturing, Automotive, Transport and Logistics or Community Services

Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent humanitarian visa

Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.

 

NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
