Background

In accordance with Immigration Regulations, several companies paid amounts representing 2% of their organisation’s payroll to be applied as funding for Industry Based Training.

It was specifically requested that the contributions be used for students enrolling in graphic arts or media studies.


Scholarship Funding

One (1) scholarship of $2,000 and two (2) scholarships of $1,200 are available for students undertaking a courses in graphics or media studies.


Eligibility

Applications made on the Graphics/Media Scholarship Application Form, available from the Executive Officer, ccef@chisholm.edu.au or on the Foundation website, www.CarolineChisholm.org.au will be accepted from existing or prospective students who meet one of the following requirements:

 Individual or family adversity
 Excessive relocation or changes of school
 Relocation as a refugee
 Economic barriers to further study

and are:

 An existing or prospective student undertaking training in graphics or media studies

Applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, hold a permanent humanitarian visa, or with the exception of degrees, be eligible for a Government subsidised place

Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.

NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
