Community Health Services Scholarship

In accordance with Immigration Regulations, an amount representing 2% of payroll was paid by organisations to be applied as funding for Industry Based Training.  It was specifically requested that the contributions be used for students enrolling in community health studies.


Scholarship Funding

One (1) $1,500 scholarship and one (1) $1,170 scholarship for students
undertaking studies in community health services


Eligibility

Applications made on the Community Health Services Scholarship Application Form, available below or from the Executive Officer at ccef@chisholm.edu.au will be accepted from existing or prospective students who meet one or more of the following requirements:

 Individual or family adversity
 Excessive relocation or changes of school
 Relocation as a refugee
 Economic barriers to further study
 Chisholm Institute existing or prospective students undertaking training in courses in the Centre for Integrated Health & Community Well-Being

Applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, hold a permanent humanitarian visa, or with the exception of degrees, be eligible for a Government subsidised place

Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.

NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
