One (1) scholarship of $1,000 per annum is available to an eligible Chisholm Institute student commencing or continuing studies in 2010.   The scholarship is partially funded by donations received at the 2009 Chisholm Institute Staff Christmas Party.

Eligibility

This award will be available to students on all campuses of Chisholm Institute undertaking studies in any course.

Applications made on the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation Staff Scholarship Application Form, available via email from the Executive Officer of the Foundation will be accepted from existing or prospective students who meet one or more of the following requirements:

 Individual or family adversity
 Relocation as a refugee
 Economic barriers to further study
 Existing or prospective students attending a course at Chisholm Institute
 Students aged between 30 and 65 years of age

Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent humanitarian visa

Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply

NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
