Business Writing Scholarship

Background

In accordance with Immigration Regulations, several companies paid amounts representing 2% of their organisation’s payroll to be applied as funding for Industry Based Training.

It was specifically requested that the contributions be used for students enrolling in business studies, professional writing.


Scholarship Funding

One (1) scholarship of $1,000 is available for a student undertaking a course in Business Skills, Publishing, Editing and Writing or Medical Administration studies.

Eligibility

Applications made on the Business Writing Scholarship Application Form, available below or from the Executive Officer, ccef@chisholm.edu.au, will be accepted from existing or prospective students who meet one of the following requirements:

 Individual or family adversity
 Excessive relocation or changes of school
 Relocation as a refugee
 Economic barriers to further study

and are:

 An existing or prospective student undertaking training in business/writing studies 

Applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, hold a permanent humanitarian visa, or with the exception of degrees, be eligible for a Government subsidised place

Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.

NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
