Background
The Berwick Campus Network, through their fundraising activities, raised in excess of $1,000 in 2011, due to the generosity of staff at various staff functions.
As a result a scholarship is to be made available to an eligible Berwick campus student in 2012.
Scholarship Funding
One scholarship of $1,000 per annum will be available for a student undertaking training in 2012
Eligibility
Applications made on the Berwick Campus Network Scholarship Application Form will be accepted from Berwick campus existing or prospective students who meet a number of the following requirements:
Individual or family adversity
Excessive relocation or changes of school
Relocation as a refugee
Economic barriers to further study
Chisholm Institute existing or prospective Berwick campus student
Applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, hold a permanent humanitarian visa, or with the exception of degrees, be eligible for a Government subsidised place
Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply
NOTE: It is strongly advised that applicants indicate clearly on the Application Form any disadvantages to further study, which may include current or lifetime experiences.
