One (1) scholarship of $1,000 per annum is available for an eligible Afghan student for the 2010 academic year.  The applicant may be a current or ongoing student.

Eligibility

Applications made on the Afghan Scholarship Application Form will be accepted from any student who meets several of the following basic requirements:

 Afghan background
 Disadvantaged and undergoing hardship
 Individual or family adversity
 Excessive relocation or changes of school
 Dislocation as a refugee
 Economic barriers to further study
 Be attending a Chisholm Institute campus

Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent humanitarian visa.

Holders of a Low Income Card are encouraged to apply.
