Foundation Funding 
 
  • Chisholm Institute Board of Directors provided the seed funding for the Foundation to commence operations in 2007 with $72,630 from funds reserved by the predecessor institutions
  • Foundation funds at the end of October 2011 were $671,930
  • Chisholm Institute has pledged an annual contribution of 5% of investment income to the Foundation
  • Chisholm Institute administers the fund for the Foundation
  • A Board of Trustees presided over by an independent chair and comprising representatives of Board, staff and the broader Chisholm community is responsible for the governance of the Foundation

  • Private donors who support scholarships for the Indigenous and African communities, the Emerson Scholarship, Barbara Blundell Bursary and Sue Polgar Memorial Scholarship.
  • Chisholm Institute staff and students support the Foundation by donating funds through Campus Networks, student projects and social fundraisers
  • The South East Development (Melbourne) Area Consultative Committee donated a total of $120,000 in 2008/2009 to set up a perpetual funding for annual manufacturing awards
